Andre Bagoo is a writer, poet, and essayist. His books include the essay collection The Undiscovered Country (Peepal Tree Press, 2020), winner of the 2021 OCM Bocas Prize for Non-Fiction, as well as four poetry collections, most recently Narcissus (Broken Sleep Books, 2022). His fiction debut, The Dreaming, was published by Peepal Tree in 2022.
Tobagonian-born writer-in-training Lynette Hazel is currently pursuing her MFA in Creative Writing at the UWI St Augustine Campus. The 2015 Faculty of Humanities and Education Award winner for Creative Writing (Prose and Poetry), she was Longlisted in 2022 for the Elizabeth Nunez BCLF Prize, and her stories have been published in Moko Magazine as well as the Commonwealth Foundation's Adda publication. Lynette has much to contribute to the literature of Tobago, the wider nation, and Caribbean
Nadja Nabbie completed the MFA Creative writing a short story collection that sits squarely in the speculative fiction genre whilst exploring real life issues within society.
Chennel Cupid is a final year MFA student whose short story collection takes snippets of Trinidadian family life and brings them alive on the page. When she’s not writing or reading, she can be seen on stage with The Fyzabad Connection Theatre Company.
She’s also a member of The Rotaract Club of San Fernando-South where she participates in community service.
